The miserable failure of Praja Rajyam Party to emerge as a major political force has claimed the life of a die-hard fan of PRP president Chiranjeevi in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Ajay, a PRP activist and a Chiranjeevi fan, committed suicide by falling under the running train at Sanathnagar. In his suicide note, Ajay said he was very much pained at the debacle of the PRP in the last assembly elections and presently, the party’s condition had turned from bad to worse. Hence, he was committing suicide, the suicide note said.
One wonders whether the incident had any impact on Chiranjeevi, who himself is groping in the dark as to how he should proceed with his future political plans. It is time he should get into action before he witnesses many more suicides in the coming days.
